Raids
Realms can engage in raids against other realms that can result in damage to locations and looting points.
Overview
Realms participants can can engage in raids and monitor the status of outgoing/incoming raids.
Raid Offense
Successful raids initiated by Realm owners result in damaging a random defense location for the defender's Realm. A percentage of a random project's points, containing a balance of at least 100, are also looted from the defender's balance and redistributed to the attacker. That percentage is based on the difference between the attacker's offense and the player's defense.
If the attacking realm is stronger than the defending realm, range restrictions limit the max percentage that can be looted to 3% of the random project points depending on the difference between offense and defense levels.
If the attacking realm is weaker than the defending realm, the max percentage looted can be up to 9% depending on the difference between the offense and defense levels. This ensures that weaker realms are rewarded in points according to the level of risk they undertook by raiding a stronger realm.
Offensive Strategy
Attackers should seek out realms with the highest success rates for raids. This increases the likelihood that the raid will be successful and that the attacker will be successful in looting points. If attackers are mainly interested in looting more project points, filtering realms by wealth and attacking wealthy realms may yield a higher payout. Especially if the Realm is more than 3 levels stronger and the weaker attacker is willing to take more risk to try and hit a higher percentage points jackpot.
Raid Defense
If the attacker fails during the raid, a random location from their offense is damaged by 1 level and the defender's same offense location is upgraded by 1 level. There is also a 1 in 3 chance that the attacker's portal will be damaged by 1 level, reducing the attacker's number of concurrent raids allotted.
Defensive Strategy
Claiming daily rewards increases the amount of project balances for the defender. By having multiple balances, there is less likelihood that an attacker will loot their highest points balance. Acquiring at least 1 NFT from a new project and staking it helps to also diversify points balances and insulate from attackers looting a high value points balance.

Monthly Leaderboard
The monthly leaderboard for Raids showcases the performance of participants. All raid participants earn their fair share of 1 million CARBON based on their performance. CARBON is crucial for upgrading Realm locations because it can be burned to form DIAMOND and then shattered to equal parts core project points through Crafting. The Crafting panel can be found in the sidebar of the Dashboard or Store pages. Raid participants should garner a substantial amount of CARBON every month preventing them from having to rely on the 3x alternative point cost to upgrade locations.
